Information You Submit
When you type a name, phone number, or address into a search form, the entry goes to the outside provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. A message sent to us contains only what you choose to provide, and we use it to answer you.
Information Collected Automatically
Our host records ordinary technical logs, including IP address, browser type, requested pages, and time of access. Aggregated logs help us maintain the service and see which resources are useful. Cookies or similar tools may support basic traffic analysis and advertising measurement where those functions apply.
How We Use Information
We use limited visitor data to run the service, diagnose errors, count traffic, and improve content. We neither sell a visitor list nor create profiles of individual users.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to government databases, Davis County and Utah offices, library resources, and outside search services. Their own privacy rules govern data submitted after you leave our pages. The same applies to sponsored results, which an independent provider supplies.
When Data Is Shared
Hosting and support vendors process technical logs for us. Analytics or advertising services may receive the automatic data noted above. We may disclose information when valid legal process compels it, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
Safeguarding Limited Data
An encrypted connection serves the site, and logs are kept only as long as necessary for the stated purposes. Since users do not create accounts here, we hold no user password or account profile.
Visitors Under Age 18
The service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect a minor’s personal information. Contact us if a person under 18 submitted such data, and we will remove it.
Your Utah Privacy Rights
The Utah Consumer Privacy Act, Utah Code Title 13, Chapter 61, gives qualifying consumers rights that can include access, deletion of consumer-provided data, portability, correction, and opting out of certain sales or targeted advertising, subject to the law’s scope and exceptions. We can check our contact mailbox and server logs for a request made through the Contact page. Government records held by Clearfield, Davis County, or Utah offices remain outside our control, so requests about those records must go to the relevant custodian.

We will post a revised version here if this policy changes. Using the service after an update means that you accept the revised policy.
